MY GUNS

This is a custom Winchester, .280 Remington caliber, built on a standard Model 70 action, serial # 205315, manufactured in 1951. It has a 26 inch Lilja barrel and a Leupold 3-9x40mm VX-II scope. The Model 70 was produced from 1936 to 1963. It is known as "The Rifleman's Rifle". It became a legend in its own time, the favorite hunting rifle of knowledgeable sportsmen and gun writers of the era who sang its praises. Since the Winchester Model 70 made its appearance in 1936, it has been the standard by which all other bolt action rifles are judged. The pre '64 Model 70 Winchester is one of the greatest firearms ever produced for sporting purposes anywhere in the world.

This is a custom Type II Browning BAR, .280 Remington caliber, serial # 137 NM 30815. It has a 22 inch barrel and a Leupold 3-9x40mm VX-II scope. BARs were manufactured in .280 Remington only from 1988 to 1992 and are therefore very rare. This rifle was manufactured in 1990 as a .270 Winchester. Since I prefer the .280 over the .270, I ordered a .280 barrel, gas regulator and magazine and had them installed, converting it to .280.

This is a Model Four Remington, 7mm Express Remington caliber, serial # A4061149. Manufactured in 1982. It has a 22 inch barrel and a Leupold 3-9x40mm VARI-X IIc scope. The Model Four was manufactured only from 1981 to 1988 and are therefore very rare and those marked 7MM EXP. REM caliber are the rarest of all.

Model 1892 Winchester, 32 W.C.F. caliber, also known as 32-20 caliber. Octagon barrel. Serial # 865557. Manufactured in 1918. The model 92 was manufactured from 1892 through 1941

Model 1892 Winchester in .45 COLT caliber. Serial # NT2350. It is one of only 500 produced with an engraved receiver. Manufactured in 1997.

Model 63 Winchester, in .22 LONG R. caliber. Serial # 37815 A. Manufactured in 1940.

Model 9422 XTR Winchester, in .22 S-L-L.R. caliber. Serial # F373833. Manufactured in 1978 by Winchester Repeating Arms Company, before U.S. Repeating Arms Company was formed.

Model 94 Winchester, 32 WIN. SPL. Serial # 1822243. Manufactured in 1952.

Colt Single Action Army .45 Serial # 3592SA Manufactured in 1956. It has elephant ivory stocks which were available on special order at that time.

Colt Single Action Army .45 Serial # 28968SA Manufactured in 1960. It has the round top hammer, which was made to take advantage of the "fast draw" craze that was getting started at that time. The round top hammer made it easier on the thumb. The round top hammers were only made for a very short time with a possible production of two to three thousand revolvers.

Colt Peacemaker .22 Caliber. Serial # G174573. Peacemakers were manufactured between 1970 and 1977.

This is my most prized handgun. Walther PPK in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) caliber. Serial # 212883K. Made in Zella-Mehlis Germany before WWII with crown N proofs. It was given to me by my sons. This type of handgun was made famous in the James Bond movies. He carried one.
"Walther PPK, 7.65 millimeter, with a delivery like a brick through a plate-glass window."

This is my concealed carry handgun. SIG SAUER P232SL in 9mm kurz (.380) caliber.
Serial # S 254 202. Made in Germany.
